These huge tower like eyes with a dozen lenses per row would have given this guy a great panoramic view of his environment. Just one of the many great examples of trilobite evolution that kept the species alive for over 300 million years!  Trilobites, an extinct arthropod, are most closely related to the modern Horseshoe crab.
