Notes: | Florida's state stone! A museum quality fossil coral specimen that features about a billion needle thin “stalagmite" spires. Semi-translucent chalcedony appears to have seeded upon the threadlike columns of ancient coral itself in a process called silicification. The backside of this piece also shows wonderfully preserved detail of the original coral structure. Custom stand included. |
