Notes: | Oreodonts (common name) are extinct mammals the size of a sheep and most closely related to camels and pigs, though they have no close relatives living today. This partial skull specimen is still in the matrix- leave as is or you can be the paleontologist and free the specimen from its 30 million year resting spot! Partial skull, upper and lower jaws with teeth present (canines too). Really neat piece of natural history! |
