Bumble Bee Jasper is mined from the side of a volcano in Indonesia and the vivid colors are from sulfur and arsenic compounds. In a polished state, these are safe to handle but you do not want to handle the powdered or raw form without protection. (And it should go without saying but please, don't even think about licking or ingesting these.)
